Just thought I'd drop by to see what was going on. It looks as though the site is having issues from what I am reading. It also looks as though there is a lot of confusion between members (rice vs domestic). You guys should accept each other for who you are and quit the bickering! Life is too short. I learned years ago that the world is full of hate and that you can be hated for almost any reason. You guys need to have a group hug!

We need no hugs... Just gained a new ricer and a couple of us are having fun at his expense... Mostly just me at the moment because some others are out of town. I suspect he's gonna see a bit more upon return of some... Then again, they may decide it's been too long to bother...

Haven't seen you in awhile. Still don't agree with your lifestyle choices either, but that's only because you're pushing the message as if we simply must like it... I'd rather you keep it to yourself, like most of us choose.

Still got the same car? Seems many people are selling for a quick buck... And what brought you back now, anyway?

Yes, I still have the '03. I really haven't done much else to it. I haven't even had it at the track in the past year. I stop by from time to time but never post or log in. I stopped by today (first time in a few months actually) and was reading all of the posts and was seeing the "ricers" and all. I just wanted to say that we should all get along and not argue like what is going on now. Remember "Love thy neighbor" is a way of life! I don't care for imports as far as owning one, but I have plenty of friends who drive them. My partner actually has a new Prius. No performance there of course, but we drive it often because of the fuel prices. I still love my Stang though! No plans on getting rid of my baby!

I know you don't approve of my life style, but at least we can be friends right? I saw a picture of you on a motorcycle posted here. You look so familiar. I'm being serious. I feel like I know you from somewhere. Where have you lived besides Florida?

We could all get along, but that takes some fun outta life!

As for the imports... I have owned them in the past and own 2 right now... Owning them isn't the real problem... Thinking they are "all that" is. Bottom line, we talk about racing on these forums and drag racing is almost always part of that talk... Imports can be fine and dandy... But they don't "rule" any dragstrips in the end. Odds are, they never will because the engines are so small. If you add more than one power adder, they may perform really well... But overall, they don't keep up. Everyone knows this, but "ricers" argue against that truth.

Other than time in the service, I've had residence in FL and Ohio. I've been to 38 states, but not as a resident. I have no real problem getting along with you or anyone else... Just don't like being pushed to approve of things in which I wasn't already in agreement.

I agree, they will never own any dragstrip. They are, however, reliable and fuel efficient cars. My partners Prius is no fun to drive as far as power goes, but it's awesome at saving money at the fuel pump.

We'll actually be down in Florida this June at Disney's. We go every year in June (you probably already know why). Are you near Orlando? I told Jason how fast your car was and now he wants a ride in it! Could that be arranged? We'd love to meet you! Unfortunately we will be driving the Prius because of the fuel prices. I wish I could take the '03 and then I'd offer you a ride! It's not as fast as yours, but I think you would be impressed with it for what little is done to it. Gotta go to bed now... good night!

The mileage from imports can be great... One of mine gets about 50mpg. Of course, it's a motorcycle.

I live at least 2.5hrs from Disney. And since I live in FL, I try to avoid the area. I do know about their special time of yr for gays... It's the main reason I will no longer go to Disney. Nothing against the population... I just don't see any need to provide special events for any minority when the majority pays the bills. It's a bad business decision. If the same company had "hetero pride month" or something, they'd be sued for discrimination. The good news for Disney... Even though people whine about a recession or whatever, they've made money this yr.

Riding in my car... Not anymore. I removed the passenger seat and tag back in 2003. To much roll cage to be comfortable with it and the nitrous bottles need the space.

I hate to say I will probably be too busy for visiting, but that's the reality. We have a rental home to complete building and I expect to help my brother move in the middle of the month... And there's a small chance I'll take a job for a company keeping me busy for awhile.

I live north of Daytona... NW, actually. About 2.5hrs from Orlando. If things go REALLY well for me in the next month or so, I'll be moving closer to Gainesville...
