O.K. Girls.............

I decided to dust off the OLE DEMON and take it out to Irwindale tonight. They are having a MOPAR only event at Fontana at the end of the month and I thought I would take the Demon out and swap gas in the bowls for the night.

For the NEWBIES, it's just a small block MOPAR with NO adders. Just motor......

I did buy some new tires for it. Last time out the BOY went sideways through the lights and there were some FLAT spots on all four. The guy before him wet down the track with tranny fluid and nobody saw it.

Maybe, with a little luck I can get that OLD POS into the 10's.......... If not, I do have a can of Propylene Oxide and some more jets to help

I'll let you know tomorrow what the outcome is.............

I thought the NHRA banned that because it has a tendency to go BOOM?

Isn't that what you want .

Irwindale is not an NHRA track. Tonight is just Test n Tune. It just oxygenates the gas. It's an OLD SCHOOL trick, racers have been using this shit since I was a little BOY.

Smells alittle like ether good if your feeling a little light headed

Sounds like fun... I may wash my car soon, but I don't expect to get back to the track for awhile and then, only to make a couple passes before selling it. Have a blast!! Ya know, maybe I'll wash it Frinday... THe gal wants a reason to wear a bikini... Now she'll have one!

Let us know how you do...

A dude I knew that's actually older than even you told me long time ago that some guys used it as fuel, not just an additive.

He must be REAL old, cause I don't remember that. Doesn't mean they didn't try it.
They way I do it is 4 oz to a gallon of fuel. I guess if you had big enough jets and a 1" fuel line it would work .

I have the car loaded on the trailer and hooked up to the OLE DODGE truck. Just waiting for the BOY to come over and a couple of buddies.

In the mean time, I think I'll just sit back and drink a few BEERS.

Here is the video of the FIRST time we went to Irwindale with the new motor. This was the BOYS first time driving this car.

I still laugh at this. The BOY just couldn't keep his foot in it.

Same tract tonight, same car, same driver just NEW tires. HOOSIERS baby.........

The OLE MAN

ps, on a side note, I bought a white marking pen and painted on the rear tires. Now it says,

HOOSIER DADDY

it must be the beer that made me do it.

The OLE MAN

ppss, I took a pic of my REFER also.............. did I tell you BOYS that my nephew works at MILLER BREWING

Posted by: The OLE MAN

Might take me awhile........ to finish these. Any of you BOYS want to come over and give an OLE MAN a hand?

None of the alcohol for me, but I do like the flag... Why ain't it FLYIN'!!!

Car looks like it needs somethin' ... Oh, a driver who ain't skeeered! I can see doing that the 1st time, and maybe more. Might have to launch a tad lighter on throttle to get used to it. But you surely told him not to repeat that anymore than necessary... heh

First, why are you letting the boy drive if he's a chickenshit? Is it B-Body or the miata owner driving?

Second, wish I could come down and watch and help you with those beers. But I'm heading up to Altamonte this weekend and I'm spending tonight getting my shit packed and the car detailed.

Dang, that thing took off! Bet that was one fun ride!

I can do better than that! I got TWO HANDS to help with!

Didja know that Miller Lite has actually won beer contests in Europe? They don't have light beer over there.

Alright, out with it. What happened? How'd it do? Where's the video?

Figures a Dodge driver would be SCARED! Must be a long line of that in your family, huh?

Actually it's an import driving kid who gets scared behind the wheel of daddy's Dodge. Considering how much faster his dad's car is than what he's used to, who could blame him?

Well, to make a long story short............... I got ran over by an IMPORT.

Happened in the pit area just after we pulled in. Some SHIT BIRD little kid was playing with his car, lost control and ran into ME . He sadi he hit the PUSSY JUICE button by accident.

I spent a couple days in the hospital and am out now and healing up. Still walking with a walker. Hopefully, I will be back to new again in a few more weeks ( hopefully ).

Never did get to run the car.

You're right. The BOY use to drive a POS, SUPERCHARGED Miata. It ran O.K. butt, was no DEMON. And, YES, it did scare the SHIT out of him the first time it went wheels up. He didn't know if he was going to run over that Z06 running next to him or not. I told him the car was set up correctly and would go STRAIGHT. Just didn't tell him straight UP .

I hate to say it, butt, he drives a GMC truck now .

I guess the old saying is right. You can take a horse to water, butt, you can't make it drink.

The OLE MAN

Posted by: bl3wbyu

Oh dang, that really stinks. Sorry to hear of your mishap. Hopefully you'll be walking fine again in no time.

Man! That's messed up! Glad to hear that you're ok though. I saw a guy get crushed between 2 cars at Bradenton a few years back and his daughter was driving the car that crushed him. I'm not sure how bad it was, but it looked bad! He was on the ground and people were screaming and the track ambulance came over was trying to help the guy. The car that hit him was a 90's Thunderbird and the car in front of it... even though I can't remember what it was, I do remember that it had a metal bumper, so I know he had to have been hurting pretty bad and there was quite a bit of blood! Glad you're ok... the track can be a dangerous place at times.

Posted by: Grape Ape

OUCH! Sounds painful... Better stay outta the way of those "ultra-handling" imports... heh

Hope you're back to normal soon. I'd like to see new results soon.
