I have downloaded music since back in the day of the original Napster and switched to the newer programs as the older ones got shut down etc.... here's the thing... is any program safe to use anymore? Is there a program that isn't loaded with spyware, adware, etc.? This brother is broke and would like to revisit the old days of downloading if you know what I mean... Can anyone help?

That's what I used to use... but I haven't used it in a LONG time. And it seemed like it started causing some problem with my computer (slowed it down, locked it up, etc.), so I wasn't sure if it is still a good program to use or not. How often do you use it... or how long has it been since you have used it?

Yeah, but I can't find anything good in the afternoons on the radio. It's all the same crap playing on a loop, and I can't listen to a song I like again unless I wait for the loop to start over...

I meant "make" a copy... Apparently the L is a bit too close to the K on my keyboard... Or maybe they switched places... Yeah, that's it!

You can get CD's from the library. Or at least you could the last time I was in a library... Not exactly yesterday... I think someone told me they can be rented from places like blockbuster too, but I don't know about that. Haven't been in a B.B. in several yrs.

Ah. I ASSumed "mail", because you say rent. And I rent my DVD movies from blockbuster online. OOO well. I will have to check into the CD renting thing though... that is just asking for someone to burn copies of though...

You could go to a big public Library in your area, check out some CD's, copy then and return them...

I honestly didn't know that public libraries were renting CD's now.... I'll have to check into that...

The one in my area has been doing it for years. Not only Cd's, but movies and games for just about all the systems....and it's free! Many never think about the library doing that.
