Part 1

In just one year. Remember the election in 2006?

Thought you might like to read the following:

A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a DEMOCRATIC Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;

2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4.00 a gallon;

3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);

5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;

6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for CHANGE in 2006, and we got it!

Remember it's CONGRESS that makes law not the President.

He has to work with what's handed to him.

You liberals are probably in denial about now....

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.

That Denial thing just keeps getting in the way Huh???

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

Boy, am I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

Republicans didn't make up the MASSIVE increase in fuel costs... They didn't make up the fact, since Democrats gained majority control over Congress, oil by the barrel has gone from roughly $59.00 all the way to about $140.00

In a nutshell, Nancy Pelosi and company LIED to us and those stupid enough to have believed them at the time have largely realized they were lied to, and subsequently, Congressional rating has dipped to its lowest point in the HISTORY of American political annals... That's right, in over 200 years of effort, only TODAY's Congress has earned the lowest rating ever...

Republicans didn't make up a drop in consumer confidence.

Republicans didn't make up a recession(but Bush inherited one).

Republicans didn't make up $4.08 per gallon national average for gasoline.

Republicans didn't make up a hugher unemployment rate since Democrats took "control" and I use that term as loosely as possible, since they clearly have no clue how to "control" anything further away than the shiny shoes on their feet.

Republicans didn't make up the fact, Democrats WANT to increase taxes for ALL working Americans.

Republicans didn't make up socialism as a better way of life for Americans... Let's just pray they can stop that stupidity...

Republicans didn't make up the idea of a windfall tax on companies who profit... And they didn't try to lie to the public by saying it was a good idea. They did know it was bad, however, and stopped it once before... LONG before you were born... All the way back to the early 80's..

If ignorance is bliss... 20#'s of crap is the most blissful person on this site... It must be nice to be all of 20yrs old and know everything...

I'm beginning to think the legal voting age should be raised to 35!
The best any of the "popular" candidates will get from me is a vote of no confidence.
This whole thing is out of hand and the truth is, they all stink! None of them gives a rat's ass about us, period.
Anyone who would waste a vote on a Democrat is misinformed to say the least and an idiot in blunt terms.
