Interesting voting poll.

Considering most polls ask less than 2,000 people, and this one is over 100,000 already, one may think America IS making decisions... Don't truly believe any poll 100%, but this carries far more weight than a 2,000 or 1,000 person poll.

At this point... Go John GO!!!

So either McCain is really getting more votes or only his supporters are smart enough to clear cookies and vote again....

Site isn't tracking voting by IP.

It's an AOL poll, right? If so, won't surprise me they don't require IP chasing... I guess I'll go look to see where it stands today.

Posted by: Grape Ape

Well with over 136,000 votes, the percentages really haven't change. McCain is winning in ALL 50 states! This is kinda funny, but realistic compared to every other poll I've read(and not been allowed to vote in). McCain still has a 22% advantage. I just hope it works out that way in the actual election. I'd even like to see more at this point. That's only because I'm so tired of the hardcore leftists throwing around how certain an Obama victory is already.

McCain isn't my first OR second personal choice here... But Obama is NOT a choice for me at all, since he's so far left he thinks he's right. I wouldn't vote for Obama if Mickey Mouse was the only other opponent.

Posted by: TNT

Well there are two people in this house and both voted for McLame from different computers. I don't see any point in skewing a poll, it just hurts the accuracy.

Besides, it's the demoncrats who believe in vote early vote often. This just shows that without illegal aliens and the cemetary vote, the demoncrats have no hope of winning.

Posted by: Brootal

I said I was from Texas and voted. Couldn't see the results otherwise.

Not looking good for Obama!

Posted by: Grape Ape

Heh... over 206,500 votes cast and still, a 22% lead for McCain. He's leading this poll by over 45,000 votes now.

PS That's over half of those cast for Obama.

Posted by: 20#GSX

fucking bull shit! i guarantee that poll is rigged. no way those #'s are right.

Posted by: TNT

By demoncrat standards, the poll is rigged.

Dead people cannot vote in it. No one is taking busloads of ghetto trash and homeless people to the poll and paying them to vote for obomba. So two of the demoncrats' biggest constituencies aren't represented.

OK, well, for one thing, it's gonna be real difficult to rig voting on that poll. It would have to be manually entered each time because of the security checks with the letters in the pictures. So creating a bot to vote would be next to impossible since those pictures are randomly generated and can't be saved because they aren't cached but rather the call to the java object is and that is what you would end up accessing to try and do any kind of OCR work with it.

The other problem is that with only about 220,000 votes, it's not even 10% of the total population but that is a TON of votes to enter and get enough of an average distribution among states that could reflect what is normally seen as how people typically vote in those states. If you actually look at the numbers for each state, you see that the typically red states have giant represented numbers of red votes but in the typically blue states, the margins are much closer.

Then again, I think Billary had a chance at being the new boss because as many people out there that don't want a woman for president I think there are exponentially more people out there that "ain't gonna elect no black man for president!"

I think there is going to be a record turn out in the country for voting because Obama is a black Muslim and there is still a great deal of animosity towards Muslims in this country. Especially since OPEC, which is made up of a good deal of Muslim states, is whom everybody seems to blame for oil prices. Add to that the race card and Obama has two potentially HUGE strikes against him. And it's not just from uncultured rednecks from the deep south. I know several Jewish people who refuse to vote for Obama because he is Muslim and they are torn because they are staunch democrats.

This election is not going to be based on politics or platforms. If it was, Obama wouldn't be where he is because he has yet to define a platform or any kind of policy whatsoever. McCain's platform and policies seem a little misguided in spots but at least he's got a plan. Obama is where he is because the idealists in this country have all the money and power. Namely media and Hollywood and they want to show how progressive everyone is by propping up a black Muslim for president. But for every one idealist in a high place that thinks they know what is good, there are a hundred fundamentalists in other parts who know what is good for them too and it ain't gonna be no black man or Muslim for that matter. It's a shame that people still think about it like that but if that is how it keeps Obama from getting in to office, I say excellent! Not that I don't want a black president or even care if he or she is Muslim. I can just think of many other, much more qualified candidates to be that "first" than Obama.

You know what's funny about all this though? Everyone who says their vote doesn't count? You're full of shit. Every Hollywood type and media maven has one vote. You know what? That's how many I have too. Their vote counts as one vote for their candidate. You know what? Mine does too. You know what else? You can pack up the entire population of Hollywood and all the media pundits and such and put them in a big room and they still make up less than 1 percent of the total population. So if I vote and my vote counts and you vote and your vote counts then guess what? Between you and me, we just negated and then beat at least 1 Hollywood guy or media talking head. Every vote counts.

You neglected the biggest reason that many of us are against obomba, he's a fucking SOCIALIST! The US voters have turned away from that idiocy every time we've been given the chance. It'll be the same this year.

Riiiiight... It's "rigged" and the numbers just can't be right... And why not??? Well, because 20 says so, and he's our resident 38yr moron who thinks everyone else is stupid...

The funny part is, all you DUMOCRATS can do is be pissed off at reality... AGAIN!

Posted by: Grape Ape

Over 256,000 votes now and Obama hasn't cracked 100,000! McCain has an over 50,000 vote lead...

And Obama has actually DROPPED from 39 to 38% overall... Heheheheheh

But hey, Obama IS indeed leading in Washington D.C. ... Where he wants to CHANGE things! McCain has some lead advantages too... But it's just ALL 50 STATES!!!

No, I didn't neglect that. The thing is that all the people who vote against socialism are regular voters. The people who are gonna vote against Obama are ones that don't vote or haven't voted before and decided to step up and do their civic duty for the racial, ethnic and religious reasons I mentioned. Either that or they are going to vote along the religious lines and forsake their party because of it.

But the hundreds of thousands of backwoods, racist farmers in the deep south don't follow politics. They don't see platforms and economic plans nor do they care about foreign policy. They want to blow up all the ragheads in east and send the black people back to Africa. They don't care that Obama is a socialist. They only see that he is a towel headed camel jockey screaming Praise be to Allah and jackin' up the prices on gas. It's not about politics to them. It's about skin color and religious affiliation.

The same goes for all those Jewish people who won't be voting for him. They don't want Obama because he's a Muslim. Read the history books and what the Muslims have done to the Jews over history. Hell, just look at Palestine and Israel. You mention Yessir Arabsfat in certain delis in New York and you'll be drenched in spit out on your ass on the sidewalk in no time. To most Jews I know, the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim. Harsh but, reality.

In this day and age with 9/11 still a stinging wound especially with all the unrest caused by it, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, the oil crisis, middle east unrest and terrorism, being Muslim is a detraction in most peoples' eyes. Add the deep seated racism that still exists in this world and you don't need socialism as a detraction to see a decided swing in polls. Although it helps and becomes the 3rd strike against him to have much of the nation motivated against him.

Millions will vote against Obama and almost all of them will have voted in the past. Their religion may be much of why, since he's so "off" on so many things related to Christianity.

This looks like it was written by some northerner who's never really spent time in the "deep south" and that makes it ... Silly.

There are racists ALL OVER the country, certainly not just in the south. Or did the 92-95% of blacks who voted for Obama all live in the deep south? And if you knew a single farmer from the south, you'd probably wonder WHY so many people who've never met them would call them racist. You'd be further shocked, I surmise, at the depth of their political knowledge. They may remind you that President Clinton is from Arkansas too... Part of th "deep south" in most folks minds(although I'm not completely convinced). It does look "back woods" though. They may also remind you that many Presidents of the past were from Virginia, definitely considered "south" at least. I mean, it did seceed.

They care that Obama is a socialist, which is part of why so many have switched FROM the Democrat party TO the Republican party. They don't LIKE socialism, like most Americans.

They see economic plans too... Afterall, where do you think most of your oil is refined, Mexico? Jersey?... Try TEXAS!

They don't generally think Obama is a Muslim either. Most know he claims to be a Christian, but don't think he really is one, and they're correct, looking at his religion, which is "Black Liberation Theology" and that wasn't "made up" until the 1960's... The "backwoods, racist farmers in the deep south" understand these things. And just because you've probably never spent a month, let alone years amongst those "good 'ol boys"... Doesn't mean you understand them. Clearly you don't.

Skin color was 1st brought up by former President, and current "New Yorker" Bill Clinton, and followed up on by none other than Barack Obama. And he reminded us all a couple days ago, by telling "his people" that "they" would try to scare those people by saying things... "And did I mention, he's black?" ...Straight from the highly educated, Obama.

Jews don't seem to think he's a Muslim either... They just think he's wrong and won't continue to support Jews in the future. The south has plenty of them too, most probably "via" New York.

Won't argue that part... It covers most people against Obama. But it's not about race or religion. It's about policy. Visit the deep south and listen to the people complain about OIL prices, and the idea about leaving Iraq or Afghanistan BEFORE the job is correctly done. You won't hear many talking about Obama's color or his being a Muslim. They talk about NOT wanting to sit forever on our own oil and NOT wanting war to continue, but NOT settling for less than victory. They talk about his desire to BAN guns and TAKE more taxes for freeloaders. They don't like what he DOES stand for, regardless what he stands against.

Barack's making a comeback... He's made it back to 39%!

At this point, he's got over 110,000 votes. Of course, McCain has over 174,000.

And he lead ONLY Washington D.C. yesterday, but today leads... NOTHING! He's fallen behind even in the liberal bastion that IS our 'Capitol city' and that's strange.

Yeah, that's it...

Pay attention for once in your life! That was the second poll from AOL and there is a 3rd underway now. Obama LOST the 1st two, #1 by about 10% from what I read, and #2 by 22%. In total, from the two completed polls, nearly 800,000 people case a vote. NO other poll you can site has ever come close to 5,000 people polled, let alone nearly 160 TIMES that number... But it's a setup by Republicans... You're such a fool, 20. It's only a shame you'll never live long enough to be intelligent enough to know it.

Like most left wing morons, you'll claim anything to skip out on truth. And like most, you'll also make it up as you go, in hopes others are as willing to forego their own thought as you are. SHEEP!

I'm no Republican. I am, however, hopeful that Barack Hussein Obama gets defeated in a landslide come November 4th. It has nothing to do with anything but his "vision" for America. He's a true socialist and is the most liberal person in Congress today. We don't need socialists running our country because they are trying to do things NOT in accordance with our Democratically established government. They want to GIVE to the poor, only they never really do give. They just take. They want people to believe they'll help, only they've never really helped. They want people to believe they have the right answers, but never actually put them into play as stated(on the rare chance they are stated). They always change things to meet their personal goals and leave people like you behind. And THAT is much of why you're so uneduated. Along with blindly following, you passed right by an education for HOPE! And still you HOPE while still uneducated. THAT, friend, is the shame of it all.

And THAT is why you're so pathetic. They've kept you locked away and prevented you from advancing ALL your life. So you live a mysteriously lacking existence, waiting for someone else to do everything for you. Thanks to your poor education, you can't even get a decent job... But YOU stupidly blame Republicans. Get a sack, ASSHAT! Do it by working hard to both be educated and willing to push yourself hard. And hold on tight!
