did the 350's ever come with a factory 5 speed?

Most assuredly NO.

Either its a 305, or somebody did some swappage. The t-5 was only rated for ~300flb. The 350s were putting out 330-345 from 87-92.

MikeT's right, the t5's were WEAK. They blew out with stock 305's driven a bit hard for pete's sake.

Since were on the Iroc subuject...There is one for grabs here...It's a little on the rough side,but the body is straight and the engine is good..Now,my question is,can you make it fast with the existing engine?And if yes,how?I used to have an 86 Camaro,but it was carburated and pretty immune to tuning.This one has the tuned port injection.Would appreciate reply...I'm in dire need of a reliable work car that I can take to the strip every so often....Thanks...
