can someone tell me the lug spacing on the 4th generation Fbody? i'm looking for some racing wheels but i'm not sure what size i have. i have a 2002 TA. is that the 4 3/4" spacing?

Yeah, smaller GMs are 5 on 4-3/4", the bigger stuff like Impalas are 5 on 5. Check your backspacing, though, the offsets change a LOT.

Yep its 5 on 4 3/4. What kind of racing wheels are you getting? The Weld Draglites are 5.5" b/s for the 15 X 8s and 1.75" b/s for the 15 X 3.5s. You'll also need a set of 5/16 spacers. And you'll still have to grind the rear calipers to make them fit.

i'm looking at centerline drag wheels. they're 15x9 with 7" of backspace which i believe is the same backspace as the stock wheels. i didn't think about having to grind the calipers, i'm assuming that's because of wheel diameter? the wheels i'm looking at have a 4.75" lug pattern so that's right.
