S.E.S. Light reared it's ugly head today

Well, finally. I figured I would see the Service Engine Soon light eventually. I put the SLP MAF sensor it the '99 T/A Friday. I drove it about 80 miles. I turned her over Sun. afternoon to the S.E.S. light. Now, my question is, when I got it emissioned, it had an O2 low voltage thing going on, but not S.E.S. light. Could it finally be bad enough???? The MAF seems to be okay. The stock one wouldn't turn the light off. If it is the O2, any reasons why it would need replaced at 14,000 miles on a '99????

Clear you PCM. Then put the stock one back in and it should be fine.

Got to the bottom of this today. Left Bank Too Lean. The light isn't on anymore, still running a bit funny, I will wait till the PCM adjusts to the new Air/Fuel mix, then take it to a guy 'round here that works solely on late model GM F-Bodys and Vettes to get it adjusted. Thank tho

SLP 85mm MAF's are known for setting (too lean) SES lights, it's very common with them.

Yep, the lights off. Guess the computer took some time to get used to new MAF.
Thanks tho
