Synthetic fluids

I've always used mobile1 in my camaro. This weekend I'll probibly be changing all the fluids in my dad's jeep. Is it a good idea to go sythetic in the manual tranny (uses gearlube, not ATF), transfer case and axels?

I believe that sythetic fluids much better than conventional fluids. they do not break down as fast. I would say it is a great idea/
