I saw an 85 Mustang vert with a throtle body fuel injection. I didnt even know they made them. Was this setup popular or was this guys car pretty rare?

Autos came with cfi in 85 I believe.

All of the 85 (and maybe 84's, not sure) 5.0 automatics had CFI fuel injection. It was a P.O.S. It was rated down to around 160(?) h.p. from the 210h.p. 4bbl/5 speed.

Thats right. I had a GT350 with CFI and an 84GT conv with that crap. What a JOKE!

Cool, I was just wandering. All of my stangs have been MPI and Ive never seen that setup before. I figured it was probably a shitty performer.
