They were going to supercharge, but I think that fell by the wayside because of the sales numbers. The low sales are their own fault though. Ford does absolutely nothing to promote the Marauder.

One time I saw an infomercial at like 9am on a sunday morning one time. It was for the entire mercury line.

They'll still probably add a supercharger next year, even if they don't make them after 2004. Btw, there's not much concern for them stopping production on a niche car like this. They still use the same engine in other vehicles and they clearly won't be dropping the Mercury Grand Marquis anytime soon.

i don't know if you guys have drove or rode in a marader .... but they are bad ass .... my father-in-law bought one and man it'll run . i'd hate to see them do away with them . i'm wanting one for myself ... but i got to find a used one .
