replaced her 2 amps with the single HiFonics ZEUS amp. wow! what a difference! no more noise either! its smooth and clean and sounds pretty powerful. but i think i gotta adjust the crossover point on the sub output.

I'll be getting my spanking new 'Road Gear' $50 dolla make ya holla 225w amp soon...
Now my stereo makes a high pitched scream whenever I turn it off..Honestly the worst sound ever...Like the Amp is dumping any residual power through the speakers...I hate this stereo...

no, the high pitched scream is RF interference generated by your engine electrical system and the charging system. even the motion of the engine can cause RF interference. check your grounds and where your power wirse and the RCA cables are running. either that or the amp could just be poop.
did you check your polarity on the speakers? if it was wired wrong and you fixed it, out-of-phase polarity can cancel out white noise like RF interference and typical radio static.
when you get your amp, get teh very best RCA signal cables that you can afford to get. you won't believe the difference it makes unless you hear it for yourself.

John...The SCREAM..and I do mean SCREAM (prolly 110 db) happens when I turn the car OFF...The RCA Cables are brand new Monster Cables, So I think the amp is just, well, poop
Congrats on getting Em's car sounding good...What is she driving now anyway?

if that is what is occurring then you have a bad ground. it may notbe in the wiring to the amp and so on and so forth. it may be bad wiring inside the amp. i say get the new amp in there ASAP.
Emily still has the Taurus. there is about 4 grand left to pay on the Taurus. but we may be getting her into a newer Mustang convertible or a 97 Eclipse convertible in a few months. depends on how this new job opportunity works out for her.
