Marty, My trans in my Ford Bronco (1995) shifts from park to reverse very hard, then from 1 to 2 it also shifts very hard. I have replaced the tps, and the dds. If you clear the computer the thing will shift right for about 8 - 12 miles then it acts up again. Could the be the computer?

I missed this till now,(a month, I know). It could be the vehicle computer. This was "completely" computer controlled for most vehicles by 1995. To really know, I'd take that problem to a very reputable transmission shop or better yet, to a Ford dealer. Just asking might give you some real solid clues here, but it should probably be checked thoroughly(the ECM) for a problem.
