Regional events forums?

Here's a thought (which I have sort of borrowed from the ProbeTalk forums, which hosts various regional Probe club forums). How about a set of regional forums for announcing what interesting (or even minor, like a test & tune night) events you are planning to attend? While scheduling a national meet has never got off the ground, a board that lets members announce where they will be at local car events could help Pit Dwellers meet offline.

Maybe after this place gets a litte bigger.. With the small group of regulars that we have right now I don't think there's any need for another forum. For now, they can post anything like that in The Pit. Its a good idea though..

I've seen alot of cool hacks that you have done for this place. Suppose people put there real locations in there profile could you sort them into groups. Maybe that would show people who is in there area and maybethis would help any future meetings.

Thats not a bad idea.. I'll look at the member file this weekend and see if I can figure out how to sort by location.
