anyone knows some website which describe the 440 6pak best performance tuning?

It would depend on whether it's a stock or modified one, anyway. The most important thing to keep in mind is that it is like a vacuum secondary four barrel, only with four secondary barrels. It uses the center carb for driving around, and the two outboard ones as secondaries.

My advice is, if you don't know what you are doing, then DON'T.


Do you have a dial indicator? That would be my first question.

If not, STOP.........

Take it to someone who knows how to adjust them. Otherwise they will run like SHIT.......

Where do you live?

Is it near Cali?

i live in Hungary, Europe
i have a 66 coronet on the road and a 64 W200 P/U
both with 225 slantsix
i will convert the P/U to a real streetmachine

you dont need a dial indicator to set up the sick pack carbs. there good book on tunning holley anc carter carbs in fact there are sevral. they cover the 6 pak setups and how to tune them. get one. also if in serious doubt get a factory service manual. there not hard to work on. just trcky to get staged properly.
