Could you be more specific about the mods you already have? Like what the cam specs are, what size carb, etc? Also, the compression if it isn't stock.

I don't want to be picky here, butt............... it takes a TOTAL comdination to make a car RUN.

If you have 4:11 gears with a 26" tall tire, well, you'll go up in smoke and BUZZ that bad boy through the lights.

To much cam without the compression to go with it will KILL the motor, not withstanding the HEADS to flow ALL the air the cam wants to suck down.

Why do you think cam builders ask so many questions,

car weight
tire size
gear ratio
trans ( including first gear ratio )
bore
stroke
compression
rod length
heads ( ported, stock, valve size, flow numbers etc )
and on

it takes ALL the info to build a correct motor.

thanks for the info ...but I just found out i cant touch the engine cause i need new frount brake rotors for it.....if anyone knows where I can get some that would be very help full.....

Ah, looks like you've got the dreaded Unobtainable Early Brake Rotors. You can order them here but they aren't cheap (well, they are compared to dealer parts prices on some newer cars). That's one reason swapping to '73 and later discs is popular - the rotors are considerably cheaper.
