For the last week and a half i have had alot of water coming from the vent on the floor drivers side. At first i thought i had a leake or something because of how much it's been raining, but i noticed theses last couple days it hasn't rained and it is still doing it mostly when i am running the a.c. It's getting to the point where i am having a puddle of water by my feet when i am driving. Any ideas what could be causing this?

You're sure there's no external leaks... Driver side? Check the passenger side, that's where it's most common, due to a bad heater core. I'd make sure there's no engine leaks as well as no heater related leaks(check radiator level) . And watch the running temp.

Check and see if the drain hose came off your AC duct. Its probably condensation from the evaporator. I dont know why its on the drivers side, maby its running across the dash or something.

I went to my friends shop this morning (opps forgot about school). He said the drain was just cloged. Put some cleaner stuff in and it cleared up, about 3 gallons of water came out.

3 GALLONS? That's all your entire cooling system can hold.. There just isn't that much space for water in the A/C system! But it must've been lotso water... Glad it's taken care of now.

Looks like Im too late on this one. I solved that A/C problem tho. I ripped all the lines out and got them out of my way...

I was thinking about getting rid of it. My buddy took his off and picked up a couple tenths. BUt florida is just to damn hot, and the girlfriend complains.

I tossed mine, which I hadn't used much since buying the car in the 1st place. Idonno how much it helped though, since I swapped engines at the same time.

I think that meant complete removal of all A/C components... :btg:

bingo!.... less weight = free speed... mustangs are very weight sensitive

Posted by: Grape Ape

You'll drop about 65lbs. overall with A/C removal. The important part is, it's all from in front of the driver.

The weight plus it's one less acceserie that the engine has to turn so that free's up a few horses.

true while the a/c is running,... it doesn't eat any power while off.... it acts as an idler pulley .

Posted by: 86five-o

My bad i didn't realize that thanks for correcting me.

Posted by: Grape Ape

Even so, an extra pulley gone is less drag than an idler...

shorter the belt the better
