Ok -- SO here's the wrap.

I was driving ~3 days ago and noticed my AC started to 'sputter' non-cool air. It would blow cold, then have moments of 'engine' air, usually lasting ~5 minutes.

On day 3, I started the car.. had the AC running (which was blowing cold) and she blew her last cold breath.... I went a day w/ the windows down until I finally decided to take her in.

Today, Jiffy Lube recharged the AC. They also 'pressure' tested the AC and said I had no cracks.

Immediately after servicing the AC was ICE COLD.

When I left work this afternoon, the AC was great until I was ~20 minutes down the road.... it started blowing luke-warm air and never returned to cold.

What giveS?!?!?!?

texas heat & humidity sucks.

thanks,

Maybe it had leaks but they didint wanna fix them ?

I dunno man.... There is a little switch on them that shuts the compressor off if the gas inside it gets too low. Maybe that switch is messing up ?
