Click the usercp button at the top, then click edit options + change avatar.

Can I add a custom avatar?

Due to that fact that custom avatars are loaded from the database they slow down the load time of threads, so I have them disabled for everyone except veteran members who have 7000 points to get one. Wheneven I get around to upgrading the forum software I'll fix it so that they're stored locally on the server and everyone can get one.
