I am thinking of getting a poly bushing kit for my car. The suspension is stock right now. I what to know the pros and cons of poly bushings are. Also what size are the stock sway bars on a 99 Camaro SS?

Polyurethane bushings are alot more durable than stock, and will withstand alot of pressure when cornering(beter handling),but I would also complimnent it with other parts ie,torque arm mount(cheap,it was worth it alot better out of the hole)sub frames, stb etc...

yea, but i'll be the first to tell you, if you get poly bushings, be prepeared for alot more vibration. that is the key. if you owant you car to still feel like a "caddy", then don't do it, and just get some sfc's to strengthen up the rigity of the car. if you wanna get a little more serious, then go to poly's later. get the front end kit, and the tranny and torque arm bushings too. they help a TON for launching. but they do increase vibration

Aren't they squeekier too? IIRC, if you don't lube them good, they can be hell on your ears.

poly bushings are self lubricating, that's why they feel "greasy",
when you handle them, so your squeak problem is somewhere else, maybe there's a mouse in your air filter canister singing the opera.... :o
