Look at my new TTS LT headers: the AIR pipes enter about 1/2" in the exhaust pipes! Is it normal? Looks strange to me...

Wow! I haven't ever looked at the TTS LT's but my Macs sure didn't look like that. They were flush and I ported them just a little bit with a dremel tool around the welds to clean them up. I would try and figure out a way to trim those down because they are going to mess up the flow somewhat I'm sure.

My Hooker LTs are flush! That looks like poor quality control.

I've seen that on edelbrocks. I think my Headmans are the same. Seems common on the cheaper brand headers.

Though, I haven't really looked how any of the expensive ones are.
