Regular street radials ain't gonna help much with traction. What are your mods? For a stock or mostly stock Camaro BFG or Nitto drag radials should do it.. If you're making alot of power you might need some ET streets.

Nitto drag radials!

BFG's! ...mickey thompson's new drag radial looks like a hookin' mofo too, though... yet another equally respected/recognized tire manufacturer to consider for a set of drag radials. How cool is that?

Unless you like slipping the clutch (assuming you have a stick-car).. anything much past an off-idle launch (depending on how sticky the track surface is, keep in mind) will result in massive wheelspin on any regular radial tire. The DR's are worth every penny if you want to enjoy your experience at the dragstrip.

For a stock '97 Z-28 I would have to recomend the Nittos over the others. The BFG's hook better and the MT's even better, but for a stock car the Nittos are a better all around choice as far as price and street life goes. If you have a modded car, I would say the new MT drag radials will be hard to beat!

id have to go with ls1jay about the nittos

Are you driving a M6, or A4?
And yes, drag radials would help alot, but then your rear end will not last long if you are launching hard. Time for a 12 bolt!!!!
