Has there ever been a banjo used in metal music? I know a few rock bands have used them in songs....It probably wouldn't sound right, but you never know...

Hmmm, if any bands where to do it, I would say either:
1. Primus-because they are weird like that
2.System of a down- THey are weird also
I dont think they would actually use that as a primary instrument in a concert but maybe for a song or too. But then again they are alot of back up musicans for some bands, that might use it at a concert for a couple of songs.

The banjo sound just doesn't do it for me. They never seem to be quite in tune. Do their tuning keys have gear reduction or are they one to one?
