blow through VS draw through turbo setups

So, i find myself doing a Turbo setup on a 4X4 4.3 V6 s10 blazer. i have the manifolds and turbo out of a syclone. and i have this little nifty deal that a carb bolts to and it fits right on the intake of the turbo turbo manifold I have the means to cnc machine any adapters that i need. 1 example is the TBI manifold will stay right where it is at, i will just make an adapter that bolts on in place of the throttle body. Anyways my main question right now is, What is the benefit of a blow through? i have seen that the carb needs to be modded to make this setup work, and extra enrichment, foam in the floats. sounds like a lot of bullshit. with a draw through is it possible to get a reliable 300 crank hp with this setup? or am i pissing in the wind?

You can use an intercooler much more easily with a blow through than a draw through, and it gives better throttle response. Getting the carb in tune is a royal pain though - I still haven't quite got mine in tune and will probably convert it to EFI.

i have a simular turbo setup that i have laying around, except it relocates the carb to the front right side of the engine compartment. i have never seen one like this before, also on the exhaust manifold and intake adapter has an ss symble any ideas???
