02 SS Rear Tire clearance

Good day eh, Newbie to this forum.

I've read that some Camaros need the HT (hammer technique)mod to allow clearance for 335's on the rear. Do you know if 315/35's would fit right on, and/or are spacers required for adjustment?

Has anyone put 315/35's on the stock ZR1 wheel...(I believe they are 9") or would I have to go to a 10 inch rim?

No they will not fit on a 9" wheel, you have to use a 10.5 or 11 inch wheel, and massage the inner fenders with a sledge hammer.

My 315s worked just fine with no rubbing at all and no massaging of the fender well.Its all in the proper backspacing.

Well, you got lucky, I have never heard of them fitting without a little massaging.

Luck had nothing to do with it! Im just that damn good!J/K Really though the only time i have ever heard anybody have a problem with 315s is when they have the wrong backspacing.Now 325 and 335 on the other hand will definitly need a hammer with them to fit.
