need to find out if an early model 351w will swap into a 94 f-150. not sure if intake and plentum are interchangeable to earlier model block that was carburated.

How early? I think 69-70's 351 W's had a smaller deck height, but if it's newer than that, it should work just fine.

appreciate the info on the 351w. had no luck finding a used fuel injected engine and was hoping the older style would work. thanks

The block is the same dimensions, but it won't be a roller anymore. You'd either have to spend big bucks on a retro fit roller cam or live with a flat tappet cam.

or u can just buy the retrofit linked bar lifters from crane or comp cams to use any h.r. cam

If you go for the swap, you'll have to have a 351 setup from 94/95. also the computer, exhaust, tranny, coil springs, radiator etc. can get real messy if you don't do the homework. I'm still thinking about doing the same thing except to a 95
Good luck.

Dont know where you got your information, but the Tranny, Radiator, and Coil springs will not need to be changed out. Hes swaping a 302, all his old stuff will work

I should have been more specific on the flywheel, not the same, and according to ford not all the tranny's will tolerate the 351. Radiator, what dependant on the water pump tubes, again do your homework and be preaired
