I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN I SHIFT. I JUST RECENTLY CHANGED THE CLUTCH MY SELF, I FELT I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT BUT I AM HAVING PROBLEMS SHIFTING AFTER 20 MIN OF DRIVING. IT SHIFTS GOOD WHEN COLD BUT I HAVE TROUBLE PUTTING IT IN GEAR, I HAVE TO PUT SOME FORCE TO THE SHIFTER TO SHIFT. I CHECKED THE CLUTCH CABLE AND ADJUSTED IT BUT IT IS STILL THE SAME ANY SUGGESTIONS ? I USED GEAR OIL BUT SOME PEOPLE TELL ME TO USE ATF FLUID

Dude, those T-5's use ATF. Keep the 90 weight gear oil for the rear end!
Drain that shit and put some ATF in it.

T-5's got ATF from 86 up.

Vettklr is right, get that damn gear oil out of there, put the ATF in it and drive it for a while, then change it again to make sure you get all of the gear oil out.
