WHAT?!?!?!? A real track?!?!?
Lucky Dog!
I've heard gaining 1 tenth in the 60ft. is worth 2 tenths in the 1/4, so I bet you changed for the better.
Nice burnout pic!

i ran the 1/4 mile this weekend it went 12.79 @105.5,but the front bowl tripping fuel i tryed to adjust the best i could, and the air screws would turn all the way in and not change motor i dont no why i check for vacuum leaks but no leaks,if you have any info one this problem let me know. thanks ronnie

what do you mean by front bowl dripping fuel?? you see fuel dripping from inside the carb?? maybe try checking your float level.
Posted by: VETTKLR
That sounds just like a blown power valve, but you took your valve out, didn't you, Ronnie?
Posted by: ronnie
yes i adjusted the floats and fuel stoped dripping, but still the air screws make no changes i can turn them all the way in and motor still runs it should kill the motor iwonder if the ]power valve block [ has anything to do with it? thanks ronnie

Just wondering why you removed the power valve.
Thats not usuly a good idea.

i was trying a few different things,i put a vacuam gague on the side were the site holes are it read 6in. i put a 5in power vavle in i hope it dont slow the car down.iam going to run it tomorrow to see what happens. ronnie

Playing around with them trying to get them to go better is half the fun.
Nice car by the way.Lots of people don`t like the MustangIIs but I think they dress up nicely.

Try a 3.5" Power Valve as well, Ronnie.
The optimal size power valve is 2" less than whatever vaccum your motor pulls @ idle in a manual trans. car or in Drive on an auto.

Let us know how ya did.
Posted by: ronnie
the vacome reads 15in. at the manafold what size power vavle do i need, ronnie
