Well I have been submarine Disqualified. They think I have Asthma. I am totally bummed. I was doing well on this boat and was on my way to making E-7/Chief. I hope it clears up but they doubt it, so needless to say I won't be going to sea for awhile and they got me working some stupid useless job, I never thought I would hear myself say I want to go to sea, but I do.

that's harsh! Look at the bright side though, now you've got more time to play with the Z28.

Welcome to the fucking Navy, Mike! I personally thought being a nuc instructor at TTF was a useless job.
I'm outta here in two weeks. Drop by and have a beer.
The Navy: the people that want to get the fuck out, they make ya stay until you are ready to kill someone.... the guys that want to stay, they fuck 'em in the ass.... the pussies that can't handle going to sea fake mental illness and get to stay home... the guys that want to go to sea get shit on by some doc.... it's a never ending cycle. I think it is purposely designed to keep the incompetent in charge.
FTN bro.
Dude, do yourself a favor. Go to school, get a degree or two. Work on your cars, and spend quality time with your woman. At least if you do those things while you are being railroaded, you'll be setup to do what you want when the time comes. Everyone leaves the Navy someday. Some sooner than later. You gotta set yourself up though. I heard a MC talking about that today and he retired 6 months ago after 25. He was telling it to a 16 year E-5 <-
to that.

Good luck with getting back to sea duty. With your rating, you could still see duty allowing all the things needed to make Chief anyway, right? Just tell 'em you "won't hold your breath" waiting!
Most of all, I hope you don't have asthma. It's not a good thing.

Do YOU think you have asthma? Get a 2nd opinion. I was misdiagnosed when I was younger with it too. Another doctor said I was a fine a few months later.

I went to a doctor outside the Navy first, then to a Navy doctor they both said the same thing. In the last three months I have ended up in the emergency room twice for not being able to breath, there is no rhym or reason to it.

Man... that sucks... Maybe it has something to do with the amount of pollen in the air. Maybe seasonal??? Hope it clears itself up...
This Summer if your still in the area i was thinking about building a motor... starting with a turbo II from a junkyard...
