the French, the Krauts, the Koreans, the ChiComs, the Ruskies, and a bunch of guys wearing rags around their heads are all gonna want one, but I suspect this will be one very closely held secret until something better is developed. The ChiComs are probably wetting their panties right about now, wondering if they can even shoot something our way (or at Tiawan)

The hunter killer sub, and fast attack sub, still remains something to be recconed with, as this new laser won't work against a torpedo, nuclear or conventional. We all know who makes the best subs on the planet.
