As we know, Ken is on an oddessy from Atlanta to Ohio now, as we speak, towing a Mustang with what may be a rental van, or a used Audi Quattro Twin Turbo Ken stole from some widow who didn't know what she had, ha ha.
Well I missed Ken today by a few hours. I went on a 10-mile bicycle ride this morning with the wife on the Natchez Trace National Parkway from 6:30 to 8:00AM, including automobile transport time. I was looking for Ken "around mid-day", but he departed Atlanta early. By the time we hooked up via cell phone around 10:30AM, he was already through Nashville, towing the Mustang at what I believe was an average speed of 45-mph. He was in Kentucky, and I was tempted to point the shark north and see if I could catch him on the highway. The wife had other plans for me, but it would have been a fun run with the V1.
We did get a chance to chat three times before cell phone service (or sun spots) nuked the conversation once and for all. It's good to put a voice with the email person. Too bad the timing didn't work out, I was prepared to buy lunch, whew!
Hey Ken, good to talk to you, even for a moment. Hope the trip went well, sorry for the misque on the timing, maybe next time. Give us an update when you reach Ohio and get the equipment hooked back onto the net.
Regards, Mr. P

That just goes to show how small a world it really is. When I bought the Cobra in Atlanta, I wanted to stop and meet a lot of y'all...as fate would have it, I met a hillbilly with a very large shotgun instead.
Now, if our paths cross again...it is indeed a very small world.
Anyway...each time any of y'all come close to meeting anyone else on the board (even those goofbal Floridians), you really need to meet. Stop somewhere for coffee, a beer, a strip club...whatever.
There's too many assholes in the world these days, and almost everyone here has formed a unique bond with everyone else here.
Even if you're a couple hours away, give a shout out and say hey!!!
Sheeeit, someone take this beer away from me... I gotta give the Old Lady her mother's day gift...

Yea,
I just Missed the Infamous Mr. P. It was good talking to you on the phone. Too bad for crappy Cellular service huh?.. I stopped at the Corvette museum on my way up just to take a break and stare at some plastic pigs. It was actually quite a nice place. It was worth the $6 price of admission. I am back up in Chicago now, and getting re-aclimated to Yankee life.
Things are good and I am getting my stuff out of boxes as I type this. Maybe next time P..
Hey Justa (Mike) you wanna get a beer sometime??
