Huh?.....a 71'???......aren't those one of those "I have an SS" clone car that's UGLIER than a G-3!

J/K Jay the best site to find a chevelle would be here;

http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com

I found 20 hits from Fl.

There should be quite a few of them around for alot cheaper. Best bet would be to find a 6 cyl. car and transform it IMO.

Good luck dude!

Like what? what would you suggest old great wise one?

Posted by: MikeT

? I dunno, its your car. Its just that old muscle cars are cool, but damn near everybodys done one (or 10) at some point. Just like the pony cars are, a dime a dozen. Maybe if you dropped in a turbo'd LS1/6speed combo with modern suspension it would stand out from the crowd.

I'm sure whatever you end up building will be cool and fast. But, if it was me I'd try to build something that would stand out a bit.

I know what you mean Mike. I've considered a lot of different things and still am doing just that. I haven't decided on what, but am just getting ideas I guess. Here's some stuff I have considered...

Find a cheap '98 F-body and build a stroker LS1
a '87-93 Mustang coupe
a Buick GN
a LT1 Vette
and of course the older cars like Chevelles, 67-71 Camaro or an old Mustang.

I don't know what I'll do yet.

older bodys are beutiful too gotta love the old chevelles and camaros man. or maybe even a firebird, or or maybe ah heck anything from 69 and up. just get ya a cheap heap and put a fast motor in it.. doest really matter it only serves to get a bunch of freeken tickets and end up riden a bike to work or maybe haven to ride to work with some strange naibor who calls you by the wrong name.
