I dont know a lot about sport bikes so maybe you can explain this. In the video he barly lifts the wheel and is running low 9s. I always thought bikes lifted their wheel because of the power just like a dragster, then you could hold it w/throttle control. Do you have to do something to do a wheelie. How can he give it full throttle w/out lifting it?

Thats 1 sick bike by the way. It looks like alot of fun having one of those.

I think he's spinning the rear wheel, dude.

I had a Kawasaki Mk-III 500. It weighed 360-pounds and had 67-hp, three cylinders, and would lay rubber for a city block. I'm sure they have a lot faster bikes now, but that thing would lift the wheel in several gears under WOT, and was one dangerous machine. A buddy of mine broke a bunch of bones on it, and totaled it, and almost totaled himself.

All I can say is, I'm glad I'm to FUCKING OLD ( or maybe SMART ) to ride one of those. Maybe, 20 years ago when I was

The front is "strapped" . That means, you take a rachet tie down, or other heavy duty strap, and compress the forks with it. What that does is lowers the front of the bike, and stops the forks from coming up. Without the fork rebound, it is a lot harder for the front to come up. Notice how far he leans forward, how much he slips the clutch, and how low the front is sitting. Not just any rider could have done that tho, I dont know who he is, but that guy is GOOD.

Thanks tang, I had a feeling you would have an answer to that question.

No Prob....

The ZX-10 is a wheelie monster. Pulling wheelies from 100mph is childs play for it.
