FINALLY saw it on the 1/4!

I went to West Palm on Thursday and decided there was so much to do, I'd stay till Saturday. On Friday night I went to Moroso and for the most part, was bored silly. I even thought about racing the POWERSTROKE F-350!

I saw a late model L2 race a NEON(SRT-4) soon after arrival, earning yet another win for the BLUE OVAL. It was close though, with the L2 running 13.4 and the SRT-4 running a seemingly rough 13.8 @ about 105. Time marches on, track prep, more racing, mostly cars making me wonder why I didn't race the truck.

Final pass in the 2nd round(I saw) of Sportsman, here it comes, an all new SRT-10 RAM! Along with many others, I eagerly await this "mean machine's" ET... 14.53 @ 96mph...

Soon before that, the L2 and SRT-4 had raced again, this time with the SRT-4 winning with a 13.2 @ about 108. Whatever mods were done, they were working. The L2 ran about 13.8 @98 on that pass, but I don't remember. I wonder instantly if he's not SANDBAGGN' to get a certain SRT-10 owners attention...

1st pass of round 3 S/M and the ploy worked.

The RAM owner pulled in front of all others to race the Lightning... I was cracking jokes(and not alone) about the beating about to be dished. Stage, green, BUH BYE NOW! The L2 tree'd the RAM BIGTIME and it was all over. In obvious emabarrassment, the RAM mystified and "wow'd" the crowd with a whopping 20.2 @ some 60mph. He'd gotten so nervous he missed 3rd after having already fouled up 1st and 2nd, as well as being holeshot mashed.

Granted, a chance, he never had. Still, you'd wonder why anyone with an inferior vehicle would purposely line up against one that runs well. Now my opinion of DUdge is even lower than it was before. 12's? NOT! 13's? Maybe. 14's, okay...

Lightning owners must REALLY be laughing at the idea of the RAM. 15 thousand dollar advantage is all they need to know.

If I could get a hardon for the F-150, I might.

I like the new one a lot, but there's no Lightning in the new version.
