Probably the best president of all time.

He brought down the Soviet Union.

I'll never forget his greatest acting role, "Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL"

May he rest in peace, what a man.

Greatest president of our time. Slashed taxes and created the economic explosion of the 90's, proving that the foundation of this country--freedom to succeed and excel through fair competition, capitalism, and merit--is what gives us the highest wages and best quality of life on the planet. The last best soldier in the fight to maintain the American Dream. We could use another one right now. Ayn Rand would be proud. Well done, Gipper.

in my opinion he was the best. he was a mans man . he got shot and instead of croking he put 4 inches of muscle on his chest for the next time.not to mention he busted kadafies ass went in over night and killed his whole family, that shut him up. he also handled russia. we could use another one like that. may god rest his soul. and watch over his family.

Sad that he's gone, but he definitely accomplished a lot in the time he was here. I don't think we'll ever see anothe president who would answer a question about why he chose a course of action with, "Then I asked myself, 'What would John Wayne do?'"

Keep things in perspective with Ronnie. He was 69 years old when he became president. If that's not an inspiration, I don't know what is. At 69 he embarked on a mission to change the frigging world, and guess what? He did.

The world could, indeed, use a few more men like this guy.

Davis and her brother Ron were standing next to their father's bed when the astonishing interchange between their parents took place.

"In his last moment he taught me that there is nothing stronger than love between two people, two souls," Davis writes. "It was the last thing he could do to show my mother how entwined their souls are and it was everything."

The former President died just before Michael Reagan entered his father's room, but he said the look on Nancy Reagan's face revealed she had been given a gift even as she began to mourn her loss.

"His last earthy look was at his wife, his next look was at the face of God," Michael Reagan told People.

The Reagans' personal physician, Dr. John Hutton, could not rule out the possibility that Ronald Reagan recognized his wife of 52 years just before he died.

I think it was kind of a tribute to the people, that Reagan wanted his body to be viewed by the public as well...Like saying.."Thanks for the vote of confidence/kindness you saw in me and for all the respect, even if you were on the other side of tracks politically.." Not one minute did he think of himself as being better than his family, the people of the world and the country he loved....He made many see the fun side of life...
