Many of those people don't even know what ice is, unless they visit Burger King.
Yeah I know, it's cold hearted, I know, but hey, someone needs to do it or the Canadians will get out of hand. Give em an inch, you know..........

Maybe so, but man do they play physical...I thought the Flyers were bad....

They don't play physical, it's because they're on skates, dude. It's hard to stop on those things, and they're always running into each other.

A stick to the face is very physical which has nothing to do with the skates....You can slam into your opponent or you can smash the hell out of your opponent.....you can get the whole team after one guy with the puck or a just a few......Trust me they play that much more physical because of the skates.....

Skating is easy. Stopping on skates is easier then stopping while your running. Checking each other is part of the game. Watch a game once in awhile there Mr. P and learn to love a REAL sport!!!

I find it quite amusing to watch a bunch of toothless thugs from Canada skate around crashing into everything? What do they do it for? And that little "puck" thing, what's the deal? Don't those men have anything else to do?

Ya....dress like fags, hit a small ball across a field with a stick and then chase after it.....repeatedly until you hit it into a small hole in the ground.

I was the same way Mr. P was until I saw my first Hockey game...back in the early to mid 90's....I saw the Americans take on the Russians....at the Orlando Arena...right after Russia saw the fall of the Soviet Union, they came out with their new flag and the arena just exploded into cheers for them....I think more than the American team got applauded.....Well Team USA won that event, but afterwards the two teams came into the stands to sign autographs and to see the Russians finally enjoying themselves was priceless....I think it was the inaugural World Cup of Hockey or part of the Olympics then..can't remember...
Orlando has many minor league type ice hockey teams and home of the Orlando Seals (SHL)....street hockey is getting more popular down here, because of the NHL teams in Florida...
You won't find that many players in the NHL that break the law like you'll find in major league baseball, the NBA or the NFL......

Still a bunch of toothless thugs. Comparing them to the NBA isn't exactly raising the bar too high, arf arf.
