I got knocked out of riding because Reagan died. My tire didn't come yesterday because the mail and UPS didnt run. WTF is up wit that ? I mean Im sorry the guy died, but stopping the US Mail, for a man that sold guns to the enemy seems a littlle stupid. :soapbox:

Clinton didn't find the speech very, uhhh, arousing.

As for selling guns to the enemy, the guy did what he should, work the enemy for our benefit. Those guns were insignificant against our forces, and Ollie got cash for some other operations. That's a good thing. The only problem is, the "opposition", you know, those Americans fighting for the "other side", made a big squack about it. BFD.

Thankfully most operations do remain secret. Otherwise we'd see the evening news with a bunch of talking heads exclaming about it, just like they were born yesterday.

exactly, Ronnnie was one of the few leaders who could "get er dun" and not be in shit up to his waist after doing it...

C'mon Kenis. I guess you think your tire was more important than Ronald Reagan, but most of us don't. I know you're too young to really remember how great his accomplishments really were, so it's somewhat excusable. Too bad they don't teach recent history in school anymore. If so, you'd have gotten a dose of how important his presidency was.

I rate him easily in the top 10 of all US Presidents, and personally, in the top 5. He didn't merely sell guns to our enemy. Added to that came a wealth of helpful information as well as effective oppression of our enemy at the time. As "P" said, those weapons were, and are, insignificant against us, so why not do some good with them...

OhmyGod, this is terrible, can you even imagine such a dastardly thing? Can you imagine using an unmuzzled dog to bark and snip at a terrorist who has decapitated an innocent journalist, flown a plane into an occupied building, or sent a child with explosives wrapped around his waist into the street.

president reagan(the origional mr p.) did what he had to do. beside we will never have all the facts about what is really going on in washington.......you only find that the truth comes out in time........... hey i had to wait for pay and many other things to come in the mail so i could do my business.......small price to pay to give respect to a great american................dont forgett the president has your life and welfare in his hands.............respect and honor comes with a price.
