Winter beater eh. So in Canada, that means youll be driving that 11 months out of the year?

LS

The Rust package comes standard in Canada right ?

Posted by: Carpet_Liquer

Here she is!!!

Driving it for only 5 months a year will give me lots of time to keep it going. For $700 I couldn't go wrong.

Nice HEEP, Carpet! Full or part time 4x4? I'd love a 242 t-case in mine...

Looks like yours is an older one with a renix motor. Mine's a HO 4.0, it screams from 3-5 grand but it doesn't has as much low end torque as yours.

You'll absolutely LOVE the snowability of these things, I cut through a foot and a half in mine the first month I had it. Keep it slow though, they're so short they're hard to keep straight on icy roads. All in all, they're good rigs, they've just got their problems just like anything else.

I thought GMCS came with the Standard rust package

Its an 1988 and its part-time 4wd. It has the Comfort or Power switch on the dash and the 2wd, 4wd High & 4wd low handle in the center console. There is not much rust on it at all, my shitty camera makes it look that way. The dark shit on the drivers door is black tape left from the door trim. The only rust is along the bottom of the door and around the gas filler door but its all surface rust, no holes.

Hey Carpet, check this out;

A mouse-powered jeep!

YIKES!!! I wonder what that would get for mileage on the highway. I drive 40 miles a day on the highway everyday.
