I've tried it. It didn't work.
I had a '69 with a 454, 11:1 pistons. I got the car running approximately the same day they stopped selling leaded premium. Must have been 1980, 1981. I tried everything including tolulene. It still pinged.

I have heard it works but never used it. I have used TORCO before.
