Prime 302 ford oil pump in reverse???

I doubt you'd be able to prime an engine by running a normal oil pump in reverse. Most oil pumps would push the oil backwards if turned backwards - something that isn't the case with many water pumps, though.

Yes you prime it in reverse

Yes, crank it counter-clockwise with a stout-ass 1/2" drill.

Remember how your rotor rotates counter-clockwise through 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

I got it set in today and tommorow ill bolt and hook it up. I hope I put it together right

Oops, misunderstood the question. I thought you meant "Should I spin the oil pump the opposite of the way it spins when the engine is running?"
