I got my engine running today. Im glad it all went together right.
I have a couple of questions...
How long does it usually take to seat the rings?

With 225 dur and 515 lift what do you think my timing should be at? I havent been able to find the sweet spot

Also when I got done today the engine seemed to be lacking power, Is it possible that this is due to the rings not being set yet?

Anyways im very happy to have the car running again!!

what kind of Carburator and Ignition are you running.

i'm running a stock dura spark, mallory hy fire 6 and an edlebrock 650. i have it set at 18 deg atc right now, but the problem i'm having now is that it seems to be running hot.
