Analysis of older intel has revealed a plot to undertake an aerial assault on the US Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.

Another has revealed a plot to assasinate the President as he attends a play at Ford's Theater in Washington.

Finally, all hydrogen-filled Zeppelins are hereby banned from East Coast mooring stations.

Not everything about this weekend was old. There was NEW intel about this that was discovered on Friday. THAT + the older stuff convinced them the alert was a good idea.

You forgot the most important bit of intel that caused the alert - they needed to focus attention away from the Democrat's convention.
