got to love that cone air filter, right behind the radiator.

That, plus the fact that it looks like a K&N will provide a lot more power, ha ha. (not)

I got a K&N filter on my 10 second ride as well. What does your 10 second ride have, P?

It's fitting that the turbo Z is black.

Nice cone filter on the turbo, located right above the exhaust header. Yuk Yuk.

whiners whiners whiners whiners

WoW, thats a nice one. A car like that is on my wish list.

The only problem is the other couple hundred on my wish list

We're talking street cars, Einstein. I don't care if your pecker is longer than mine, or if you use pantyhose for your air filter, but anyone who thinks they're getting horsepower on a stock street driven car (with a K&N air filter) is living in a fantasy land.

This is a 1977 design. Note the cold air intakes and extra large filter box, making the air filter far from the weakest link in the power chain. If you have a car that has a lawnmower air filter in it, then perhaps using an oiled foam filter, yuk yuk, might do somethin for ya. What makes me laugh out loud, are the guys who put the cone filters in the motor compartment where they will suck hot air coming off the radiator and/or the exhaust manifold. Real smart, real smart.

Hey Evil, all these porshce posts are cloggin up the pit. I think we need a subforum just for those.

the porsche shit forum temporary sub forum untill P gets his panties out of a wad.

blah ha ha ha ha

My fast car is street-driven, you pud.

My Supercharged '96 Cobra runs one as well. Conical fiter in the fender well. It will destroy you as well.

K&N's for everyone!!! wheeeeeeeee!!!

P, I think your panty knots are increasing in frequency. You might want to consider professional help. Just don't ask them to pop their hood, if they have a modded car.

The Porsche Shit Forum....bwahahahhahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!

Same here on my Z.

P is kind of right. On your run of the mill, everyday street car, they wont help. With my Z28, I run it with a stock paper element in, and without a filter. It showed NOTHING as far as improvement at the track. So I know if no filter didnt help, a $40 K&N wouldnt have helped it.

True, if I had an LS1, I would just put a lid on it. But LT1s are a lot more restrictive. I had to get a whole different airbox.
