staging techniques

I generally roll into the pre stage then keep releasing the brake to stage light.
Some roll into pre stage then hold dwn the brake and power brake into stage
light.Any opinions on which is better.

No idea which is better but I use the same technique as you.

About the only thing I do is pay attention to how far I roll into the second beam. If I roll in to far I usally red light. My car reacts so quick that I have to barley trip the second beam (lamp). this normally nets me anywhere from .050-.150 R/T's (new style led lamps) .

I barely trip the light and then launch at "almost" an idle.

I don't think one is better than the other. it comes down to which feel better and works for you.
