How's the gas, ice and generator crunch going where you live? We are out of gas and ice...a few places have propane, but not many......I've been helping my neighbors with the ice, because we have power but just across the street, they are still out...

News reports say they will prosecute civilally and criminally, anyone caught "gouging" due to the storm. I like that. That's what government is for, to track down and punish assholes.

I agree, how some businesses will stab the locals in the back, especially loyal customers, because they want to make a quick buck..is beyond me!!

I agree with you guys but can't businesses use supply and demand to defend themselves? I mean, as demand goes up and supply goes down, price tends to climb.... So can they not use that as an excuse?

They had a gas station around here that tried to gouge people during hurricane Juan.

The station's boarded up tighter than a frog's ass now!

My Dad bought a Coleman generator at Home Depot in Lakeland, and my Uncle bought the same one at the Home Depot in Winter Haven (10 miles apart), and my Dad paid $400 for his, but my Uncle paid $800 for his! I think someone at the WH Home Depot is screwing people!
