If the members of our basketball team spent as much time practicing their foul shots, as they do braiding their frigging hair, the score would look a lot better at the end of the game.

I've never seen so many pigtails, braids, and tattoos on an AMERICAN olympic team in my life. If they show up with a tattoo, then I say let em go directly to the NBA, but don't let them set foot on the court in the name of the United States. It looks more like a carnival act than a sports event.

I think the last time I watched to olympics was in '88.

I liked when the college kids had a chance at the olympics...whether they won or lost...

I still think the first "Dream Team" was the best, there will never be a team with that amount of skill again.

So Puerto Rico wipes the court. Funny, I didn't see any head bands or tattoos on their team. They came, they saw, and they kicked (our) ass, and they were wearing ugly shoes.

What a bunch of poseurs, where the hell did we find these socalled basketball players. Wha a bunch of losers, they couldn't hit shit, from anywhere, not the foul line, not a jump shot, not a layup. I've seen highschool teams that played with better continuity. These guys are just a bunch of self centered A-holes that are thinking about themselves, what a bunch of ball hogs. Send em to the NBA.

And...........I didn't see any jungle dance (from Puerto Rico) after making a shot either. Not only did we lose the game, we were dominated (at our own game). We only scored 7 points in one quarter.

We were jumping all over the court, as if to pose for the camera, but the idea is to get the ball in da hoop.
