Damn this forum is dead....
So any cool twisty roads near Dallas Ft. Worth? My car has never been so bored since the day I bought it.
I'm considering getting some treadwear 300 tires instead of the sticky rubber I normally use. Might as well go for gas mileage, because this straight and flat crap is boring.

I was afraid you weren't going to find anything around Big D.
What about some SCCA parking lot racing on the weekends to run your car?

I'll have to look into that. I might hook up with some Austin area Miata club. They claim there is some road around there called "The Devil's backbone."
I bet it isn't that hot, but you never know.

Hmmm...TX, yeah most of its flat. At least in this area too. The twistiest Ive seen is outside of Canyon. I usualy drive through there when I go to the track. Its not too far from the Canyon, so its kinda mountainy and twisty.

Texas Hill country, curvy, hilly of course, nice scenery. Try Park Road 4 between Burnet and Marble Falls off of 281, it's like a roller coaster, for real.
