This cars driving me up the wall. I replaced the leaky water pump on my dads 91 Pontiac Sunbird 2.0 N/A. After that it ran rough for a few days, then it would only run for a few minutes then die. Then a few seconds then die, now it wont start at all. It wont even sputter, just turns over. I checked the timing, its dead on. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, since from the looks of it, they were original,(just bought the car). Checked the coil, module, MAP sensor , TPS sensore, checked for codes, nothing.
Im running out of ideas. Its getting gas and spark, it flooded a couple times from not wanting to start, but even after I got all the gas out and tried running it with the injector unplugged still nothing.
What do you guys think.

Try the Crank Sensor

If you are getting fuel and spark. Then one of four things is happening.
Not getting air in the engine
not getting air out of engine.
third (probably what your is doing) not getiing fuel and spark at the right time. Double check your timing, (cam and ign timing)
last. Low compression. Is it possible you have washed the cyliders down woth fuel?

Well, I just got it to start. I have no idea what it was. I was under it checking for a crank sensor, its covered in oil and grease pretty bad so its hard to tell whats what. After a couple minutes of pulling and pushing wires, it started up, with a big cloud of black smoke from all the gas.
Thanx for the info guys.
