New LONG Tru-Cool Max trans cooler 40K GVWR

Some vendors are selling this cooler as an exclusive,but it's available from several companies-including Makco Distributing-also know as bulkpart.com.

It measures 22.75"x8.5"x1.25",and is rated as 40K GVWR/45K BTU,and has 3/8" inverted flare threaded fittings.

I'll be bypassing the radiator cooler completely with this to shed some heat off of the engine coolant caused by the 4000 rpm converter.

It was only $129 shipped...a real bargain considering the cost of the B&M 28K(also made by LONG,like almost every trans cooler on the market) that has half of the capacity and heat shedding ability.

Not bad.. I think I paid around $55 for my tiny B&M.

And the installed cooler...

I temporarily used the rubber line that was supplied with the kit-I just don't have enough time to finish the 3/8" hardline from the trans to the cooler before next weekend,so this will do for now.
