318 to 360 swaping info please

I have a 74 charger that is originally a 318 car and needs an engine. I was wounderin if putting a late model 360 block out of a 76 cardoba would bolt right in, or if there is any major mods that have to be done. Also the car needs a tranny, and I have the 727 out of the cardoba, will that go into the 318 car with the 360. Any info will help. I just want to know if the 1976 360 and 727 tranny will go into the 1974 orig. 318 car. Thank you.

should be a direct swap

The right side bracket is different- you will need one for the 340/360, or you can shim things with washers and get the stock mounts to work reasonably well.
